About Dr. Justitz

Dr. Justitz is a licensed psychologist.  She received a BS degree in elementary education from Texas A&M University.  She received her masters and doctorate in counseling psychology from the University of Houston.  Dr. Justitz has worked in mental health facilities and higher education for over 25 years. Her areas of clinical expertise include grief and loss, marriage and family therapy, attachment issues, and eating disorders.  She is the former Director of Psychology at the Walker Wellness Clinic and has taught many classes at the university level.  In addition to private practice, Dr. Justitz also works at nursing and rehab facilities across the DFW area helping residents adjust to their declining health, loss of independence, and end of life issues.
